Nimbus® Space Spray is an ultra-low volume (ULV) insecticide developed for the effective control of stored product insects and insects of public health and veterinary importance. It is suitable for controlling both flying and crawling insect pests in a wide range of environments.
Nimbus® Space Spray may be applied using:
- Electric ULV cold fogging machines
- Thermal fogging equipment
- Other approved aerosol generation systems
Nimbus® Space Spray is an ultra-low volume (ULV) insecticide developed for the effective control of stored product insects and insects of public health and veterinary importance. It is suitable for controlling both flying and crawling insect pests in a wide range of environments.
Nimbus® Space Spray contains natural pyrethrum, extracted from the flower of Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium. When synergised with Piperonyl Butoxide (PBO), pyrethrum delivers excellent knockdown, flushing, and killing action against a broad spectrum of insect pests.
The formulation may be used with confidence in and around food processing areas, tobacco warehouses, markets, water supplies, and other sensitive environments, when applied in accordance with label instructions.
Nimbus® Space Spray is applied using ULV cold aerosol or fogging equipment, including electric ULV machines, thermal foggers, or other suitable aerosol generators
Active Ingredients
- Pyrethrum (natural pyrethrin): 5.00 g/kg
- Piperonyl Butoxide (PBO) (synergist): 40.00 g/kg
Nimbus® Space Spray may be applied using:

- Other approved aerosol generation systems
Nimbus® Space Spray is suitable for use in warehouses and large storage facilities for the control of stored product insects and their larvae. Registration includes control of:
- Grain and rice weevils
- Saw-toothed grain beetles
- Tobacco beetles and tobacco moths
- Meal moths and fruit moths
- Flour beetles
- Other stored product insect pests
The product is also effective against cockroaches, ants, fleas, flies, and mosquitoes.
Approved use areas include:
- General warehousing and storage facilities
- Grain silos and agricultural seed storage
- Tobacco warehouses, processing, and storage facilities
- Food manufacturing, processing, and storage environments
- Mosquito and vector control programmes
- Hotels, hospitality environments, and restaurants
- Farms, stables, dairies, and high-density animal and poultry breeding areas
- Refuse tips and landfill sites
