Snap Fly Bait

Snap^® Fly Bait is a highly effective, ready-to-use granular fly bait designed for rapid knockdown and reliable control of adult fly populations in agricultural, commercial, and high-risk public health environments.

The versatile formulation may be applied dry as a scatter bait, placed in purpose-designed bait containers, or mixed with water and applied wet as a surface spray or paint-on treatment, providing flexibility to suit a wide range of fly control programmes.

Snap^® Fly Bait can be applied directly onto fly resting surfaces or painted onto boards that are vertically suspended in areas of fly activity. Alternatively, the bait may be sprinkled onto moistened cotton wool or sacking and placed in shallow containers positioned in rain-protected areas where flies congregate.

The product has been scientifically proven to attract and kill flies rapidly through both contact and stomach action. Oral ingestion significantly accelerates speed of kill and plays an important role in delaying resistance development, making Snap^® a valuable tool in integrated fly management programmes.

Snap^® is manufactured using food-based attractants known to be highly appealing to flies, combined with the short-range fly pheromone Z-9 Tricosene. This pheromone promotes aggregation of adult fly populations, substantially improving bait attraction and overall control performance.
