Pulse® Wax Blocks are a highly effective rodenticide formulated for long-lasting control of rodent infestations in a wide range of environments. Their durable, waterproof design makes them particularly suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Pulse® Wax Blocks are blue, cylindrical blocks with a central hole and weigh approximately 10 g each. They are manufactured using A-grade, flavour-enhanced cereals bound with wax, creating a robust bait that is easy to handle and allows for accurate monitoring of rodent feeding activity when compared with loose cereal baits.
The wax formulation makes the blocks waterproof, ensuring prolonged effectiveness in damp or challenging conditions. The block size has been carefully designed to maximise the potency of brodifacoum, providing reliable control while maintaining high bait attractiveness.
The formulation includes a bitter taste deterrent to help prevent accidental poisoning of non-target species. This ingredient is undetectable to rodents, ensuring bait acceptance is not compromised.

Pulse® Wax Blocks are suitable for controlling rodent infestations in and around the following areas:
- Domestic dwellings, roof voids, hedgerows, garden refuse, and compost sites
- Hostels, hospitals, hotels, kennels, schools, and restaurants
- Industrial premises involved in food processing, packaging, and storage
- Retail catering establishments, including supermarkets
- Agricultural environments such as barns, silos, granaries, piggeries, dairies, poultry houses, and stables
- Agricultural land, forestry plantations, and plant nurseries where rodents damage newly planted seeds, shoots, and saplings
- Local authority waste disposal sites, sewers, docklands, and sea-going vessels where commensal rodents commonly thrive
